Hawker Hurricane Aluminium Model - 15cm

Whilst the Supermarine Spitfire became the icon of the Battle of Britain, the Hawker Hurricane actually accounted for a higher number of enemy aircraft shot down; around 60 to 65 percent.

They were the backbone of RAF Fighter Command at the time, having been manufactured in greater numbers than the Spitfire, and having entered into service a year earlier. Although the slightly slower aircraft, the Hurricane was robustly constructed, easy to maintain, and carried impressive firepower.

This Hurricane desk sculpture has been cast in solid aluminium and polished to a high sheen such that its subtle curves and angles catch the light.
